More About Me

As a third generation agent, real estate is in Sue Hammermaster's DNA. She grew up playing in her grandfather's Renton real estate office, and later followed her mother to start her own real estate business. Sue's wealth of experience and reputation for honesty and integrity immediately puts clients at ease. Her attention to detail, great communication and exceptional follow-through earn their greatest respect. So, it's no wonder that nearly all of Sue's business comes from clients who refer her to family and friends.

As a former teacher in the Renton School District, Sue loves the teaching part of her job. There’s nothing she enjoys more than guiding a first-time buyer through the many details involved in purchasing a home. Whether you’re buying your first home or your dream home, Sue’s years of experience and training as a Managing Broker mean there’s no issue that she hasn’t seen…and solved. All that knowledge has earned Sue additional credentials as a Certified Residential Specialist, a designation held by only 3% of REALTORS.

A rare Washington native, Sue graduated from Seattle University with a degree in education. She raised three children here, and lives in Issaquah with her husband Brad, a long-time Seattle police officer. A significant portion of Sue’s business comes through referrals from law enforcement families who recommend her as someone officers can trust and count on to get the job done. In her spare time, Sue loves spending family time snowmobiling at their mountain cabin and trying out her grandmother’s traditional Italian recipes.
