Named "Best Burb" by Sunset, one of the Best Towns for Families by Family Circle and one of the Best Towns by Outside, Issaquah is a great place for residents and visitors alike.

Established in 1892, Issaquah is the 34th largest city in Washington and ranked by Forbes.com as the 2nd fastest-growing suburb in the state. It now encompasses about 12.49 square miles and is home to 33,330 people. Since 2014, Issaquah has welcomed 450 new residents and boasts 15,082 housing units.

Much of Issaquah's growth has occurred thanks to annexations and a housing boom led by construction in the Issaquah Highlands and Talus urban villages. In the future, growth will continue as Issaquah accommodates a state-mandated target of an additional 3,916 housing units and 17,517 jobs by 2031.
